Tutorial — How to Schedule a Simple Activity

Planning activities with Picture PlannerTM can be as simple as picking a time, and selecting something to do. Here's how it works:

  1. Launch Picture PlannerTM by double-clicking the shortcut that was created on your desktop during installation. Note that this is the only time you have to double-click when using Picture PlannerTM. From here on, it's all single clicking.

  1. When the “Welcome to Picture Planner” page opens and the computer says to “Please Pick a User”, single click on Demo.

  1. The Week View will appear. It will show a time period corresponding to whatever is the current time when you open the application. Click on a time box.

  1. The Activity Builder will open. The computer will speak “Create an Activity at (the chosen time)”. Click the What button to show a selection of activities available to Demo.

Click on “What”

  1. Find basketball on the first line of images in the display and click it.

  1. You will be returned to the Activity Builder. Click the done button on the lower right side of the screen.

  1. You will return to the Week View.

  1. Congratulations! You've just scheduled your first simple activity.
